CT Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM

The CT Technologist is a vital member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role requires proficiency in performing a variety of imaging procedures, including basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist must demonstrate competence in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, as well as biopsy and drainage procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Performing diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy and within established protocols
• Knowledge of CT system processing and operation
• Assisting in surgical/sterile procedures and studies using contrast media
• Maintaining a sterile environment in compliance with departmental protocols
• Demonstrating understanding of cross-sectional anatomy

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Certified and licensed as a general radiographer in the state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging, with prior travel experience
