The environment values professionalism, integrity, and consistent service to clients and the community. Role Description The Sales Account Executive is a full-time, role based in Amarillo,TX. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new advertising clients, conducting outbound prospecting, and developing tailored proposals that align with client marketing objectives. Daily activities include managing and growing an assigned account list, scheduling and attending in-person or phone meetings with current and potential clients, and maintaining accurate records of sales activity and pipeline progress. The Sales Account Executive will work closely with programming and operations teams to ensure campaigns are properly scheduled and executed, monitor campaign performance, and provide ongoing client support. The role also involves preparing sales presentations, negotiating rates and packages within company guidelines, handling contracts and renewals, and participating in station events and community engagement activities toenhance visibility and build relationships. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Lead Generation to identify prospects, qualify opportunities, and build a sustainable sales pipeline. Candidates should possess skills in Account Management to maintain client relationships, manage contracts, and oversee campaign performance. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to present proposals, negotiate terms, and collaborate effectively with internal teams. Candidates should possess Relationship Building skills to establish trust, foster long-term partnerships, and engage with local businesses and organizations. Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond promptly to client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a positive advertiser experience. Proven experience in media, advertising, or business-to-business sales is preferred. Ability to work in Amarillo, TX area, manage time effectively, and meet or exceed sales targets. Proficiency with basic office software and CRM tools, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation for local client visits.
