- Overnight shifts within a 24/7 emergency and urgent-care setting
- Manage a varied caseload for small companion animals (primarily canine and feline, with occasional pocket pets)
- Perform examinations, triage, stabilization, and medical procedures; conduct immunizations and soft-tissue surgeries as appropriate
- Utilize on-site diagnostics and treatment areas, including surgery, imaging, endoscopy, in-house lab, hospitalization, and anesthesia monitoring
- Collaborate closely with experienced RVTs and the client service team; communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
- Support a team-based medicine approach and contribute to seasonal mentorship of veterinary learners Requirements
- DVM (or equivalent) from an accredited university and eligibility for full licensure with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Confidence managing multiple emergency and urgent cases during overnight shifts
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
