Production Operator

Job Description:

• Operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials
• Operate overhead cranes to transport rolls of material
• Operate small mixers to produce batches according to specifications.
• Use scales to accurately weigh materials for batch production.
• Operate extruders and winders to produce spools that meet production requirements and quality standards.
• Properly label packaging and complete all required production paperwork accurately and on time.
• 1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm, Mon - Fri

Qualifications

• Experience operating sit-down forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate overhead cranes for safe material handling.
• Manufacturing or production experience with material handling responsibilities.
• Shipping and palletizing experience in a production or warehouse setting.

This is a Contract position based out of SALEM, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
