Herniated or bulging discs Degenerative disc disease Sciatica and nerve pain Spinal stenosis Arthritis and joint pain Neck and lower back pain Post-surgical pain Sports and work-related injuries How You'll Contribute You'll make an impact by assessing the patient's condition and nursing care needs to create a specialized plan of care. You will collaborate with physicians and provide patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to conditions. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills to directly impact patient wellbeing. Manages pain pumps Works directly with physicians Manages controlled substances Manages 100 patients, and growing Input patient's medication in system Will put medications into intrathecal pump Completes Refills Qualifications And Requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. Free Parking What We're Looking For Associate's Degree in Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred License: Current RN to practice in the state of (KY) Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS; National Certification in area of specialty or within 2 years of hire date Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
