Diagnostic And Interventional Radiologist

Preferred Experience: 1) Board-eligible or board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and current with MOC; 2) ACGME DR/IR certified; or 3) IR fellowship-trained diagnostic and interventional radiologist. The Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist:

• Interprets radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine studies
• Performs basic and advanced image-guided procedures (CT- and ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages, percutaneous biliary and urologic tube insertions and exchanges) only during weekday hours; there is no IR call (no nights, weekends, or holidays)
• Participates in multidisciplinary clinical and educational conferences, quality management activities, and institutional committees
• Maintains specialty education and basic or advanced life support certification

On-Call Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic radiology: Back-up support for teleradiology, currently a one-in-five rotation
• Interventional radiology: No call

Pay and Benefits:
