ABOUT THE ROLE

The Warehouse Team Lead will provide direct interaction with all team members involved in shipping/receiving orders, provide assistance and guidance to employees on issues related to the warehouse departments. Monitoring employees of specific areas. Give feedback to the people. Team Lead and all S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

$21.89 per hour Monday - Friday (6am-2:30pm), Full-Time, Non-Exempt

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Must have a positive “can‑do” attitude Responsible for aisle patrol Verify and enforce safety compliance Verify and enforce compliance of the SOPs Monitoring location issues reports Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the shipping process. E.O.D. stock chaser audits (cars clean, trash thrown, tablets/scanners plugged and charged in correct spot) Provide involvement in the planning and execution of Special Projects related to shipping process Provide leadership to the shipping team All other duties as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Good interpersonal, relationship building and employee coaching/development skills Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment Must be 18 years or older Ability to operate a warehouse cart Ability to follow detailed instructions/detailed oriented Ability to use electronic devices such as tablets, radios, scanners, etc. Have the physical strength and dexterity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day Ability to bend, stoop, and twist on a regular basis Ability to work independently without close supervision and within a team Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately Ability to communicate, understand, and read in English Have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information Bachelor's degree preferred Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). Note: PPE is company‑provided with a $100 stipend on safety‑toe shoes after 90 days of employment if required for your specific role - not all roles require specific PPE. Please check with your HR/Training team for details on if your role requires specific PPE.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing the job of a Team Lead, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand‑eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing is required for the operation of warehouse machinery.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
