Job Summary and Qualifications What you will do in this role: - Performs rounds on each nursing unit. - Observes and assesses the quality of patient care being delivered. - Identify nursing educational needs. - Escalate concerns about nursing skills, patient care, policies, processes, and equipment as appropriate. - Ensure that nurses within scope of support have a clear understanding of how to integrate patient experience into nursing practice. - Responds to emergencies on units What you will need in this role: - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or - Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions). - Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date - NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date - One or more years of Acute Care Hospital RN Supervisor experience required Benefits HCA Florida JFK Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
