This role is ideal for a dedicated and collaborative school psychologist seeking to make a difference through comprehensive assessments and evaluations. You’ll be working on-site across up to two school locations—sites will be determined prior to the fall start date, with possible placements in either the Hazelwood or Bayless school districts.

This school year engagement spans from August 24, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. The incoming school psychologist can expect manageable caseloads averaging 30-40 students, assigned based on district needs and coverage for K-12 or elementary/high school settings. Administrators are committed to supporting contract staff and balancing caseloads to ensure you can focus on high-quality work—especially in Child Find-related evaluations and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Department of Education School Psychologist certification required
• Experience completing educational assessments, evaluations, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Flexibility and adaptability, as work locations and caseloads may adjust based on placement
• Satisfactory completion of required background checks, including drug screen and fingerprint clearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to support student learning
• Prepare and present thorough, timely reports for Child Find procedures
• Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and administrators regarding student needs
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and legal standards
