They are responsible for the ongoing development of their management team and staff to ensure they demonstrate initiative to become co-owners of the restaurant. It is important to listen and observe, to see the overall picture and to know when to step in and coach personnel that might need it. The Executive General Manager must be able to build a team that provides instant guest recognition, excellent service, top-quality food and clean surroundings.
