Technical Operator Technical Forney, TX, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1162 Technical Operator Job Description The Technical Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex technical systems and equipment to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of machinery and systems in a production or technical environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate and monitor production machinery, equipment, and technical systems. Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on electronic, mechanical, and software-controlled equipment. Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize system performance. Document maintenance activities, system issues, and resolutions. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Train junior operators and provide technical guidance as needed. Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs. Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in a technical or machine operation role in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, PLCs, and automated control systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to changing priorities. Desired Skills and Qualifications: Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networking. Experience in battery assembly and automated machinery. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to solder and assemble electronic components. Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
