Low Voltage Service Technician

The Low Voltage Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of low voltage electrical systems. Responsibilities:

• Ensure installation projects and service calls are completed on time and on budget
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and their staff
• Test electronics using standard equipment, analyze results, and determine the need for any adjustments
• Teach clients how to operate and manage installed equipment
• Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry according to engineering instructions
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary
• Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing operation of equipment
• Ensure all work and materials meet quality standards in accordance with company policy and industry standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years' Low Voltage experience required
• Industry related certifications are a plus
• Healthcare/hospital project experience preferred
• Relevant and current industry technical knowledge
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Proficient in the use of basic computer functions
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on systems
• Ability to simultaneously handle, prioritize, and solve problem effectively
