Job Description As a Armed Security Officer - Response in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:30 AM - 04:30 PMTue07:30 AM - 04:30 PMWed07:30 AM - 04:30 PMThur07:30 AM - 04:30 PMFri07:30 AM - 04:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a government services location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. Maintain professional communication with site personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency responders while providing a visible armed presence to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
