Key Responsibilities of the RN - Obstetrics

• Provide comprehensive care to antepartum, L&D, high-risk delivery, and level 2 nursery patients
• Work in both antepartum and postpartum settings according to AWHONN staffing guidelines
• Practice within a baby-friendly environment
• Assist other departments during surges, such as med-surg and emergency

Requirements of the RN - Obstetrics

• Active IL RN license or proof of application
• Minimum of 1 year experience in L&D, postpartum, or level 2 nursery; 2 years preferred
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, EFM competency
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
