Role summary: The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Low Voltage-Licensed, is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and network cabling. This role involves performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. About the team: The Facilities Maintenance team manages HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and critical power systems to ensure safe and efficient operations across multiple sites. They oversee preventive maintenance, project execution, budgeting, and compliance with industry standards. Team members collaborate to prioritize facility needs, optimize resources, and drive continuous improvement. They support professional growth through training and mentorship while upholding high standards of integrity and accountability. What you'll do: Install, configure, and support low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/visual, and network cabling. Perform cabling tasks such as running, terminating, labeling, and testing per project and industry standards. Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and functional testing to ensure system reliability. Diagnose and resolve system faults and outages to minimize downtime. Repair or replace damaged components and restore systems to optimal condition. Evaluate and upgrade systems to enhance performance and compliance. Maintain accurate records and generate reports on system activities. Provide technical support and training to end users. Collaborate with teams to ensure timely, high-quality project completion. Operate and maintain company vehicles safely and in compliance. What you'll bring: Proven experience installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and network cabling. Strong ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system faults to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Skilled in performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades in compliance with technical specifications and industry standards. Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders, providing technical support and training as needed. Hold and maintain jurisdiction-required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work (reciprocal license may apply and licensing requirements vary by state). Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations within the last three (3) years.
