About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 24 months of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry required. Must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months. License: Must hold an active Iowa license or compact multistate license. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Must-Have: Proficiency in caring for all patient types, with a variety of Med Surg patients. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system. Experience with Heparin administration required. Telemetry and cardiac experience highly preferred. Charge nurse experience required. Preceptor experience is preferred. Description: We are actively seeking a motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse for a Med Surg/Telemetry position. The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for diverse patient populations in a medical-surgical environment. Candidates must be willing to collaborate with team members and contribute positively to the unit's growth. Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed. The position involves working 4 twelve-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend or every third weekend commitment may be expected based on staffing needs.
