Operations ManagerTo manage all facility operations to ensure company objectives are achieved. Develop, oversee, direct, and have financial accountability for the work activities of plant personnel, including Receiving/Stocking, Production, Shipping, and Inventory Control for assigned clients.Major Areas Of Performance:Ensure cost-efficient use of resources and on-going process improvement including planning, scheduling, and evaluationPerform management functions and provide coaching and direction to plant Supervisors and staffParticipate in the budgeting process and implement cost-control measuresResponsible for labor planning and schedulingDirect workflow to meet plant productivity, turn-time, quality, and safety standardsProject management for new client integrationsLeads plant in continuous improvement Ensure proper training of all plant staffWork directly with the Inventory Control Manager to ensure proper control of all client and company inventoryPartner with Client Services to develop relationships and ensure service and company objectives are achievedPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and analysis for the Archway management teamPartner with Industrial Engineer to develop costing models, workflow and scheduling analysis, and process improvementsEnsuring ISO processes are up to date and continuous improvement of processes is taking placeCompliance with MNOSHA and OSHA standards and participation in the safety committeeAll other duties as assignedRequirements:High School diploma required; Four-year degree preferred7+ years of relevant operations, warehouse, distribution, or pick/pack and ship experience required4+ years of manufacturing/warehouse supervisionEvidence of previous significant supervisory and leadership expertise with a track record of initiative, coaching, performance management, and process improvementWorking knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) requiredDemonstrable verbal and written communication skills in both interpersonal and team settingsExcellent organizational abilitiesAbility to evaluate and manage multiple prioritiesAbility to make decisions and excel in a fast-paced time-sensitive environmentHistory of successful innovation including development, proposal, and implementation of ideas to improve overall facility operationsDemonstrated a history of effective cross-departmental partnership to achieve common goals for the company and clientsExperience managing capacity in a high-paced and high-turn environmentArchway is committed to building a diverse workforce by attracting, developing, and retaining employees.
