WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR An OT who: Knows their stuff Loves working with older adults Believes dignity matters Understands that every resident has a story Can balance compassion with clinical excellence Has a sense of humor because healthcare without humor is just paperwork REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain Knowledge of Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Post-Acute Rehabilitation Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to meet documentation and regulatory requirements BONUS POINTS IF: You can explain Medicare regulations without crying. You know what PDPM stands for without Googling it. You've ever fixed a wheelchair, found a hearing aid, solved a family concern, and treated a resident all before lunch. You understand that therapy gyms occasionally double as detective agencies.
