To see our full list of Team Member Benefits please visit Responsibilities Food Runners may be utilized at Hard Rock Cafe during periods of high business volume. In addition to delivering guests’ orders, they will assist servers in responding to the requests of our guests. The main responsibility of this position is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner. Basic Functions Of a Food Runner Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently. Deliver condiments and drinks as needed (including alcoholic beverages). Refill beverages as needed and respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and polite manner. Handle guest issues promptly and professionally, communicating problems and concerns to management. Maintain a clean and organized server alley and expo area. Stock ice and glassware on the server line. Pre‑buss tables. Clean and reset dirty tables. Sweep the floor. Assist and communicate clearly with the kitchen staff and front‑of‑house staff. Qualifications Job Requirements include: Skills Remain calm in a hectic, fast‑paced atmosphere. Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail and a sense of urgency. Display a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co‑workers. Physical Demands Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to make repetitive movements of the arms, hands, and wrists. Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear. Manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders. Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds. Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion. Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment. Ability to travel via automobile or airplane for long periods of time. Additional Requirements Maintaining a well‑groomed appearance (“having a plan”). Following all uniform guidelines. Practicing all general safety and sanitation standards. Recycling products, where possible. Maintaining HRC’s five core values and mission statement.
