Location: 100% remote in California Duration: Initial contract through the end of the year + extensions IV Process: Potential one and done panel/technical IV with 2-3 leads from team, maybe a second round if they're on the fence Job Description: This position will mainly focus on API integration between the two systems, Noname Security (API security assessment tool) and Jira. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to, business requirements review and refinement, solution design, development, testing, and documentation. Desired skills include Spring Boot, Java/J2EE, JSON/XML, Maven, MySQL, knowledge on Jira API and workflow, Rest APIs and design patterns such as MVC, DAO and Log4j. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders on this project and deliver high-quality solutions to meet deadlines. Specific Systems Knowledge Required: Minimum 8+ years of experience (must be taxable experience, no internships etc) BA Degree Cyber Security experience Java/J2EE Programming Spring Framework Spring Boot JPA/Hibernate Maven JIRA API and workflow MySQL Rest APIs Web Services Development JSON/XML Eclipse/STS
