Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

$1982.88/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a high-acuity IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload, ensuring safe and effective treatment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ conditions thoroughly and develop individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.

• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in status.

• Document patient care accurately using clinical systems, with Altera experience preferred.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Ensure laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures are completed within 72 hours of patient acceptance or have a plan in place.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing with no restrictions.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to work a 3×12 day shift schedule, including weekends.

• Compliance with Tier 2 travel regulations and current certifications.

• Attention to detailed documentation and lab coordination.
