Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Pay range from $28 - $35 depending on experience!

(Higher level electrical positions open as well)

Aerotek is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support equipment and facility maintenance in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on production equipment.

Job Description:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment
• Maintain processing equipment, conveyors, packaging machinery, and plant systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components such as bearings, belts, chains, and gearboxes
• Troubleshoot basic pneumatic and low-voltage electrical systems
• Perform routine facility maintenance including plumbing, building repairs, and general upkeep
• Support equipment installations and line changeovers
• Perform light welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG) on stainless steel components
• Use CMMS to document maintenance activities and work orders
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
• Collaborate with production, QA, and sanitation teams to maintain safe operations

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
• Execute preventive maintenance programs on production machinery
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts usage
• Perform facility and equipment inspections to ensure safe operation
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (food, beverage, pharma, or packaging preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude (bearings, belts, chains, drive systems)
• Experience with basic pneumatics and low-voltage electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr. Full benefits package including health visio and dental continued growth
