Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create customized treatment plans targeting both immediate objectives and long-standing needs related to communication and swallowing.
• Deliver direct one-on-one speech therapy services, focusing on aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to ensure integrated care.
• Provide guidance and educational resources for patients and families to foster advancement beyond clinical visits.
• Contribute to inpatient therapy evaluations and treatment to maintain seamless continuity of care.
• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation that complies with all regulations and standards.
• Commit to ongoing education and collaboration with peers to stay at the forefront of your profession.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

• Knowledge of effective treatment strategies across a lifespan, with expertise in both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
