Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Collaborate closely with managers, supervisors, and other employees on construction sites to better understand equipment needs and quickly resolve problems
• Field repairs with occasional travel
• Keep records of all maintenance and repair operations, including the condition of the equipment, service history, and part usage
• Perform inventory controls
• Keep warehouse area clean and assist in making a safe working environment
• Operate a forklift
• Upkeep of grounds surrounding warehouse
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate warehouse vehicles
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial equipment mechanics
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Valid driver's license
• Good, safe driving record
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects over 50 pounds
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication skills
• Experience in operating forklift
