Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse, located in the unspecified location, is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients within the emergency department setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and professional standards of nursing practice.

Job Details

  • Position Description: This role involves assessing patients physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. The nurse reviews patient history, physicals, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reports abnormalities, and collaborates with the healthcare team to formulate a comprehensive care plan. Responsibilities include direct patient care, coordination, delegation, supervision of activities of the healthcare team, and documentation of all care-related activities. The nurse actively participates in professional development and quality improvement activities, and may supervise staff and work flow as applicable.
  • Required Qualifications: Current valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care environment or relevant specialty.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The role requires providing care based on evidence-based practices, participating in research, supporting the growth of others through mentoring, and engaging in activities that promote excellent patient outcomes and safety. The nurse will interact with all levels of staff, patients, families, and external contacts to support comprehensive patient care.
