Medical AssistantPerform clinical support services, assist with secretarial/clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation in medical records.Minimum RequirementsHS graduate or equivalent (or higher) required.10 plus years of Medical Assistant experience or related experience may be substituted for High School Diploma or equivalent.One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred.Substitution: Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA.American Heart Association BLS RequiredThis is a PRN / As needed position - no benefitsDay shift: Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 0800-1630No weekends or holidaysLooking for candidates with Medical Assistant experienceAbout ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan HospitalECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie.
