Purchasing Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

The Purchasing Associate is responsible for supporting the procurement process by sourcing products, processing purchase orders, tracking inventory, communicating with suppliers and ensuring materials or supplies are delivered in a timely manner. They also help maintain efficient operations by following up on late po’s, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining accurate notes while working closely with suppliers and internal departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Verify pricing and schedule dates on purchase orders and confirm an acknowledgement has been received. Maintain open purchase order status report for all locations. Maintain accurate supplier information. Maintain product data. Expedite and expedite purchase orders. Executes and sources purchases for all material. Assists in all purchasing/inventory projects. Resolves pricing, quality, delivery and other issues with suppliers. Monitors and reviews supplier pricing and quotes. Collaborates with other team members to improve processes. Support the Kundinger Quality Control process through compliance with the Quality Management requirements, customer focus and continual improvement. All other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education: High school diploma/GED preferred Experience: Entry level, office experience preferred but not required Computer Skills: MS Office 365 Skills taught after hire as needed: Epicor Profit21 (Computer System) Training, ISO Training, QMS Training, Workplace Safety Training

WORK ENVIRONMENT
