Medical Lab Technologist
$34.21 - $52.14 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Medical Lab Technologist for Swedish First Hill Hospital in Seattle, Washington. This overnight position involves performing routine and complex laboratory procedures, operating instrumentation, validating specimens, and maintaining quality control standards to support patient care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex technical procedures per protocols
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials
- Document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
- Report accurate and timely test results; assist with specimen processing as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and multitasking capability
Compensation: $34.21–$52.14 per hour, plus third shift differential
