Warehouse AssociateWarehouse Associate Responsibilities:This job opening is with a small warehouse that distributes industrial rubber flooring material in bulk quantities and ships all over North America.Selects proper materials and prepares it for processing based on customer orderPrepares material to meet customer specifications. This mostly consists of cutting rubber using mechanical machinery, manually and attaching brackets into the rubber material using power tools.Ensures accurate measurements before all cuts.Assembles and tightens clasps, fittings, roller-bearing mechanisms and other mechanical components & accessories if needed.Uses power tools, hand tools such as hammers, tape measures, drills, screwdrivers, etc. as neededRF scanning product and customer orderPrepares material for shipment and double checks order accuracy before completing job. (rubber material: gaskets, belts, seals, etc.).Pulls material from existing inventory, maintain clean and organized work station.Operates palletizer (shrink wrap) and wraps completed palletsAccurately follows instructions, including detail Amazon instructions for some repeat business orders.Uses various shipping software to create shipping labels such as FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Worldwide, etc.Loads tucks with customer orders: UPS, FedEx, etc. using pallet jacks, manually carrying materials and sit-down forklifts. Unloads materials from trucks when needed.Stages then stows incoming material to appropriate locations in warehouse, RF scanningAssures received items match order before breaking downMaintains cleanliness throughout warehouse at all times.Operates machinery to cut customer order down to correct size (training provided)Basic sit-down forklift operation is required and training is provided.Warehouse Associate Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent is required.Valid New Jersey driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. This requirement will not be waived and those without a driver's valid license need not apply.At least one (1) year of prior warehouse or related work experience without gaps in employment along with positive references, including favorable inquiries on past attendance.
