Operations Manager

Incredible opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join this growing plastics packaging company in the Carson, CA area! The Operations Manager will lead operations on a day-to-day basis and foster a continuous improvement focused culture. This will include utilizing Lean Manufacturing concepts, Six Sigma and 5 Why methods. The Plant Manager will lead and develop supervisors and production personnel to improve accountability, efficiency, quality and safety and to create a high performing team with high morale. Salary range is $150,000-$160,000k annually DOE with great benefits package and opportunity to grow! The operation is 24/7 and must be available to work where/when needed to support operations To be successful in this role, the Operations Manager will have: -8+ yrs progressive experience in Manufacturing with 4+ years in Sr. Leadership role -Experience in Plastics Packaging -Experience in Printing is a plus -Engineering Background is a plus -Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Background -Six Sigma, 5 Why, Root-Cause analysis and other structured methodologies is strongly preferred.
