Production Associate

The Production Associate plays a key role in warehouse operations by accurately picking, packing, and staging products for shipment. This position involves operating material handling equipment, using RF scanners to manage inventory data, and preparing shipping documentation in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate stock picker and sit-down forklift safely to move, stage, and organize product within the warehouse.
• Stage product in designated areas to support efficient shipping and production workflows.
• Read and interpret work orders to identify required parts and materials for kitting and shipping.
• Kit parts accurately according to work orders and prepare them for shipment.
• Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily material handling activities.
• Use RF scanners to record inventory movements and ensure accurate data entry into the system.
• Print labels, packing slips, and other shipping documents needed for outbound orders.
• Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Use pallet jacks and other material handling tools to unload, move, and organize products.
• Utilize tape guns and packaging materials to securely pack products and maintain quality standards.
• Follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines while performing all tasks.

Essential Skills

• 13 years of warehouse or production experience.
• Experience operating forklifts, including sit-down forklifts and stock pickers.
• Proficiency using RF scanners for inventory tracking and data entry.
• Hands-on experience with material handling, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and follow detailed instructions.
• Experience with picking, packing, and kitting parts for shipping.
• Knowledge of basic inventory processes and product staging.
• Ability to use pallet jacks and other standard warehouse equipment.
• Capability to print and handle labels, packing slips, and other shipping documents.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with packaging processes, including use of tape guns and packing materials.
• Familiarity with unloading procedures and organizing incoming materials.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory records.
• Reliability and consistency in following standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday on a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift.

Work Environment

This role is based in a climate-controlled warehouse environment that is very clean and organized. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will regularly use equipment such as stock pickers, sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, tape guns, and standard packaging materials while performing picking, packing, staging, and material handling tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
