Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, variable shifts may be required to accommodate surgical cases.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Previous Operating Room (OR) nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with standard OR protocols, sterile technique, and surgical procedures
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team
• Current BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, high-stress environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and assist with set up for surgical procedures
• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and identify changes in condition
• Utilize equipment and supplies appropriately in compliance with best practices and regulatory standards
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in patient records
