Mechanical/HVAC Engineer ISeeking a Mechanical/HVAC Engineer I to support industrial HVAC engineering and design projects across chemical, manufacturing, and industrial facilities. This entry-level role is ideal for early-career engineers looking to develop technical expertise in HVAC systems while working under the guidance of senior engineers in a collaborative environment.Core ResponsibilitiesAssist in HVAC system design for industrial facilitiesSupport development of ventilation and pressurization systems for process areasPerform basic heating and cooling load calculationsAssist in equipment selection and sizingPrepare and update engineering drawings, layouts, and specificationsSupport evaluation of existing systems and recommend improvementsParticipate in field visits, data collection, and drawing verificationCoordinate with internal teams and contribute to project deliverablesPreferred Exposure (Not Required)Dust collection systemsPlumbing systems (water, wastewater, stormwater)Fire protection fundamentalsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field1–4 years of HVAC design experience (internships/co-ops considered)EIT certification preferred or willingness to pursueBasic knowledge of HVAC principles and mechanical codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, OSHA)Proficiency in AutoCAD; exposure to Revit/Navisworks is a plusStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsThis is a remote position.Compensation: $60,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
