Foreman

Overview Construction Foreman with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on construction management experience, proven ability to lead teams, and deliver successful projects. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control, to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Lead and motivate a team of skilled laborers, subcontractors, and vendors, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications, and communicate requirements and expectations to the team, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues or risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedule and quality standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination, and resolution of project-related issues. Enforce safety protocols and regulations on-site, promote a culture of safety awareness, and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction foreman or similar supervisory role, preferably in commercial construction. Strong knowledge of construction techniques, methods, and materials, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of workers to achieve project goals and objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 30-hour OSHA certification. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
