CarShop is seeking a Driver Coordinator to oversee and execute the transportation needs of our Sales and Service Departments. In this role, you'll coordinate vehicle transfers, dispatch drivers, support customer transportation needs, and help ensure our operations run efficiently every day.

What You'll Do

As a Driver Coordinator, you'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing transportation needs while supporting both the Sales and Service Departments.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispatch and coordinate a team of drivers for vehicle deliveries, dealer trades, auctions, and customer transportation needs
• Coordinate transportation requests from Sales and Service Departments
• Schedule and manage vehicle transfers between CarShop locations
• Operate customer shuttle services within the designated service area
• Prioritize transportation needs and establish schedules to ensure timely execution
• Operate all vehicles safely and in compliance with state and local laws
• Drive a variety of vehicle makes and models, including manual transmission vehicles
• Assist with lot organization and inventory movement as needed
• Adapt to changing priorities and accommodate last-minute transportation requests
• Support dealership operations while maintaining CarShop's culture and customer-first approach

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk extended distances throughout dealership lots
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating vehicles
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials and equipment as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to assist with snow removal and lot maintenance during inclement weather

Work Environment/ Physical Demands

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Standard Business Hours with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid driver's license
