• About Facility:
  • Address: Portland, ME
• General Information:
• Beds: 5 Bays/1 procedure room
• Experience? Experience must be 2+ years in Cath Lab AND/OR Interventional Radiology
• First-time traveler? No
• Patient Types:
  • Inpatient/Outpatient/ED - discussed during interview
• Required Certifications:
  • RN: BLS, ACLS
• Skills required:
  • Cardiac Cath, Angiograms, IR cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy tubes
  • Administration of sedation, recovery of sedation patients, arterial access recovery
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary team
• Support on the Unit:
  • RN supervisor on the floor that would oversee the traveler
• Charting System/Equipment:
  • Cerner yes
  • Pyxis yes
• Floating Requirement:
  • No floating
• Orientation Period:
  • Dependent on experience
• Scheduling:
  • Weekend rotation: once per month
  • RTO Approval: Manager approval
  • Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Yes, 1 night per week 4pm-6pm and rotating weekends
  • Holiday Expectations: discussed during interview
