The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing configuration management processes, tools, and documentation to ensure system stability, consistency, and compliance.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain configuration management plans and proceduresManage the configuration management database (CMDB) and ensure its accuracyOversee change management processes and coordinate with relevant teamsConduct regular audits of system configurations and resolve discrepanciesImplement and maintain version control systems for software and documentationCollaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure proper configuration across all environmentsDevelop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and proceduresAssist in troubleshooting configuration-related issuesStay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in configuration managementQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical Education in a technical field or equivalent work experience3+ of related work experienceTS/SCI w/ poly is requiredStrong knowledge of ITIL framework and configuration management principlesExperience with configuration management toolsFamiliarity with version control systemsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDesired:ITIL certificationThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
