About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: At least 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: NRP certification, BLS certification Must-Have: OBIX experience, Epic experience Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. To provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals. Ensures implementation of solutions. Possesses clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current BLS certification is required. No preferred certification and licensure are specified.
