Grocery Manager- Assistant

The Grocery Manager – Assistant leads grocery, frozen and dairy operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and covering for higher managers during absences. Main Responsibilities Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests in the department. Maintain proper stock levels in grocery, dairy, and frozen departments. Assist in interviewing, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance of all grocery department team members. Ensure proper rotation procedures are enforced. Manage merchandising, displays, and purchasing of seasonal merchandise. Coordinate with DSD partners on displays and buy‑ins. Maintain backroom organization, safety, and stock levels. Safeguard store assets and implement control procedures. Perform other duties as requested by upper management. Qualifications 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year of store experience. Certified Food Safety Manager certification required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Team player with good interpersonal skills.
