Ambulatory Neurology - General Neurology Resident Clinic Triage RN

Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, New York, 14642. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Work Shift: UR – Day (United States of America). Job Type: Regular Time, Full time. Compensation Range: $37.12 – $50.11 per hour. Responsibilities Accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Support peers in the delivery of patient care services and assume an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. Conduct thorough assessments of patient symptoms through telephone triage and online patient portal interactions, with opportunity for in‑person nurse appointments to provide education and medication injections. Determine appropriate level and urgency of care based on patient symptoms to best manage their medical needs. Qualifications Current RN license. At least 6 months of nursing experience. Strong assessment skills and excellent communication and collaboration within a healthcare team. Committed to delivering compassionate and patient‑centered care.
