$15hr Aspire Senior Living Platte City is dedicated to providing exceptional care for our residents in a compassionate and supportive environment. As a Dietary Cook , you will play a vital role in our culinary team, preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary and nutritional requirements of our residents for our Full-Time Weekends role. As a Dietary Cook , you will play a vital role in our culinary team, preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary and nutritional requirements of our residents for our Full-Time Weekends role. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines
- Adhere to residents' dietary restrictions, preferences, and special requests
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Assist in planning menus and food preparation schedules
- Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to the supervisor
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure timely and accurate meal service
- Maintain records of food preparation, temperatures, and waste as required
- Previous experience as a Dietary Cook in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and dietary requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to resident satisfaction
- Certification in Food Safety or ServSafe preferred (or willingness to obtain)
