Senior Technical Lead - Embedded Networking - C++ Linux

Strong C and C++ on Linux — multi-process userspace services, IPC, threading, performance and memory debugging.
Comfort building and operating long-running daemons and services managed by systemd: unit configuration, service ordering, startup and recovery behavior, journald-based diagnostics.
Networking fundamentals: TCP/UDP, TLS, DHCP/DNS, REST/ at the application level, and message brokers — MQTT in particular (topic design, QoS, broker tuning, fanout control, client behavior).
GStreamer and audio/video pipeline experience at the application layer — RTP streaming, codec integration, playback troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of running C++ applications on embedded Linux targets — packaging into images, configuration management, on-device logging and diagnostics, behavior across power and network transitions.
We don't do kernel or driver development; we live in userspace.
Comfort in a cross-build environment with SVN/Git source control and ticket-driven workflow.
Provide Technical Guidance To A Team Of Developers In Embedded Networking, Enhancing Their Capabilities In C++ And Linux, And Increasing Productivity Through Mentorship And Knowledge Sharing.
Conduct Comprehensive Code Reviews In C++ And Linux Environments, Establishing Quality Assurance Processes And Performance Optimization Techniques To Ensure The Successful Delivery Of Complex Embedded Networking Solutions.
Ensure Process Compliance Within The Assigned Module By Participating In Technical Discussions And Reviews, Acting As A Consultant For Feasibility Studies, Evaluating Technical Alternatives, Assessing Architectural Risks, And Contributing To Project Estimations.
Collaborate With Stakeholders To Define Project Scope, Objectives, And Deliverables Related To Embedded Systems Projects, Preparing And Submitting Status Reports To Minimize Risks And Facilitate Timely Resolutions Of Escalations.
Strong Understanding Of Embedded Networking Principles And Technologies.
Proficient In C++ Programming And Linux Operating Systems.
Solid Experience In Software Development Lifecycle And Coding Standards.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Stakeholder Collaboration.
Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Embedded Systems Engineer (Cese), Linux Professional Institute Certification (Lpic)
