Aircraft Paint Technician

Job Summary The Aircraft Painter is responsible for performing skilled painting tasks on aircraft and aircraft parts in accordance with OEM specifications, FAA regulations, and company quality standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare all surfaces for paint by sanding, masking, filling, washing and removal of dents. Apply corrosive preventative treatments, primers, and finish coats of special Material. Complete Aircraft for customer acceptance by brush touch-up, cleaning striping lines and removal of overspray. Qualifications 3–5 years of aircraft painting experience Experience with spray applications, primer coats, and final finishes. Ability to apply stenciling, gloss finishes, and specialty coatings. Strong knowledge of surface preparation and paint mixing processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering documents. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
