Project Engineer

The Judge Group is seeking a Project Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Starkville, MS area.

Title: Project Engineer
Location: Starkville, MS
Salary: $100,000-$120,000

Responsibilities

• Lead capital improvement projects from planning through startup and handoff.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and plant personnel to ensure successful execution.
• Oversee equipment installations, process upgrades, and facility modifications.
• Track project milestones, costs, and risks while implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare documentation for project approvals and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture and verify adherence to environmental and engineering standards.
• Support commissioning activities to ensure operational and performance objectives are achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of plant processes, maintenance practices, and capital project execution.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
• Proven commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
