What You Will Be Doing Executing scheduled on-site inspections throughout Northwest campuses, evaluating documented standards for cleanliness, HVAC systems, safety protocols, security measures, signage, landscaping, furnishings, and tour-readiness, then converting audit findings into confirmed corrective actions. Managing facilities incidents and emergencies by coordinating vendor response and campus teams, closing tickets only after confirming resolution (urgent issues within 24 hours, standard requests within 1 week). Overseeing local vendor compliance with service level agreements, removing consistently underperforming contractors, renegotiating service terms, and conducting direct accountability discussions regarding quality and expenditure. Establishing a weekly operational cadence with Campus Coordinators and Site Specialists, delivering concise written reports on regional quality metrics, vendor performance, escalations, and capital expenditure tracking. Basic Requirements Located in the San Francisco Bay Area (strongly preferred), or alternatively within the Northwest region: CA, WA, NV, UT, OR, or ID, with willingness to work primarily from the Bay Area campus including 30–50% regional travel. Authorized to work legally in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. 5+ years managing multi-site facilities operations, regional operations, hospitality operations, retail operations, or school operations. Documented success managing vendor-delivered services for quality, cost control, and SLA performance across multiple sites. Hands-on experience resolving urgent facilities problems (safety concerns, HVAC failures, security issues, cleanliness standards) with measurable customer experience outcomes. Proficient written operational discipline: maintaining issue logs, escalation documentation, vendor correspondence, weekly regional quality reporting.
