PLC Technician

We are seeking a hands-on PLC Technician to support automation and maintenance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across operations. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, VFDs, and related automation systems Write and modify basic PLC programs (primarily Ladder Logic) Analyze existing control logic and implement improvements Perform equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs Execute preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance Diagnose electrical systems including 3-phase power (up to 480V), variable voltage, and 4-20mA circuits Identify recurring issues and recommend effective solutions Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with established procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals Requirements Vocational or Technical degree (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs Strong understanding of Ladder Logic Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Preferred Qualifications Experience with Rockwell Automation PLCs Ability to work effectively within a team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr DSJ Global
