Sr Scientist, Discovery Sciences and Technologies

Responsibilities
- Serve as subject-matter expert on ionizable lipid chemistry and tissue-selective mRNA delivery
- Drive design, sourcing, synthesis, and evaluation of ionizable lipids and lipid libraries
- Design and optimize mRNA-LNP formulations and targeted architectures for project needs
- Execute high-throughput screening campaigns to evaluate transfection, cellular tropism, and immune activation
- Establish LNP characterization workflows and quality control assays for discovery stage
Requirements
- Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, chemical engineering, bioengineering, or biochemistry
- 2+ years post-doctoral experience in LNP-based nucleic acid delivery
- Hands-on expertise in mRNA-LNP formulation, lipid selection, microfluidic mixing, and LC-based analysis
- Demonstrated proficiency with tangential-flow filtration purification methods
- Experience designing high-throughput or design-of-experiments formulation screening campaigns
- Ability to lead scientific projects independently and mentor junior scientists
- Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills
