Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; identify arrhythmias and respond per protocol
- Administer medications and infusions, including heparin drips, TPN, and PCA as ordered
- Provide direct patient care with an approximate 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio; assist with activities of daily living as needed
- Document in the EPIC electronic medical record and communicate changes to the care team
- Support patients with post-operative needs in general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics, and spine; manage cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones as appropriate
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education to support safe transitions

Requirements
- Active KS RN license or Compact RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- 2+ years of recent Telemetry experience in a hospital setting (within the last 18 months)
- Background in General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics & Spine; familiar with cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones
- Ability to float to all acute care units
- Weekend requirements: every other weekend
- On-call: none
