CORRECTIONAL FACILITY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay: $100.00 per hour

Schedule: 12:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Schedule Details: No weekends or holidays

Position Details

• Create and implement individualized patient care plans and perform advanced nursing duties within the scope of licensure.
• Monitor patient progress and provide ongoing management of chronic medical conditions.
• Perform physical examinations, diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, and administer treatments in accordance with licensure and facility requirements.
• Complete discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients with ongoing medical needs.
• Perform minor surgical procedures as permitted by training, competency, and applicable requirements.
• Evaluate the need for specialist referrals and review and interpret diagnostic test results.
• Administer vaccines and inoculations as indicated.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical documentation in accordance with facility, regulatory, and clinical requirements.

Critical Requirements

• On-site position in Columbus, OH.
• Facility-based clinical environment.
• Standard weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays.
• Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Candidates must provide all required compliance documentation prior to start.
• Required screenings must be initiated within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
