Start Date: ASAP.Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly and testing of control valves and related components in Deer Park, TX. This role involves hands-on mechanical work, equipment testing, troubleshooting, and adherence to industry and manufacturer specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly of Becker ball valves, including installation of valve bodies, stems, seals, actuators, and end connections (flanged, threaded, or compression)Install packing, gaskets, and instrumentation accessories as neededConnect valves using metal tubing methods (e.g., compression fittings or welded joints)Locate, comprehend, and use manufacturer installation and operation manualsConduct inspections and perform PMI (Positive Material Identification)Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate valves and other equipment according to manufacturer or customer specificationsOperate diagnostic tools such as Valscope and profilersMeasure and record critical dimensions in compliance with manufacturer specificationsCalibrate measurement equipment according to internal quality proceduresQualificationsPrevious mechanical assembly experience preferred, ideally in oil & gas or industrial settingsAbility to read and follow technical manuals and diagramsFamiliarity with valve systems, tubing connections, and instrumentationSkilled in using diagnostic and measurement toolsStrong attention to detail and ability to work with precisionWillingness to work weekends when requiredBenefitsCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceSteady daytime schedule with opportunity for overtimeHands-on work in a stable and growing industryOpportunity to work with high-spec industrial equipmentStrong focus on safety and quality standardsNote: If hired, you must undergo a background check, a driving record check, and a drug screening.
